At The Plough, Fadmoor we really want to champion local producers and suppliers.  So we have collaborated with Trig Brewery at York to create our very first beer.
Working with Fawcett Malts, we have brewed a style with malt at its core. Â
Showcasing some of the highest quality barley on the market – Maris Otter – grown and malted right here in Yorkshire.  Opus (modern UK hop) brings orange marmalade flavours to cut through the breadiness of malt making this a hearty summer mild.
Our beer Plough On is born.
This 3.4% light mild is full on classic malty biscuitiness with caramel and cinder toffee undertones showing off the fine ingredients – malt and hops.
Order this at the Beer Festival this weekend. Further barrels will be sold by Trig Brewery with a contribution being made to The Plough, Fadmoor.
