Bringing personalised, Yorkshire-made house spirits to your door.
The Plough, Fadmoor is delighted to announce a partnership with local Cooper King Distillery to provide the community pub with a range of personalised, Yorkshire-made house spirits. Customers can now purchase these spirits here with up to £10 of the cost of each bottle going back to The Plough for the pub’s renovation. When the bottle is finished, customers can also visit the Cooper King Distillery for a refill of their favourite spirit with a 15% discount off the RRP. These spirits will also be available for purchase at The Plough (when it opens) and at all Plough fundraising events.
The Plough range of spirits includes Basil Gin, Dry Gin, Berry & Basil Gin Liqueur, Black Cardamom Vodka and Single Malt Whisky.
Basil Gin (70cl / 40% abv)
Taste: fresh basil, beautifully balanced with fragrant lemongrass and aromatic clove creates a fresh and bright gin.
Serve: in a G&T with Indian tonic water and a basil leaf or slice of orange

Dry Gin (70cl / 42% abv)
Taste: well-balanced floral and spice notes, with plenty of juniper, cardamom, and lemongrass. Finished off with a touch of honey from our own, on-site beehives.
Serve: in a G&T with Indian tonic water and a rosemary sprig or lime wedge (but not lemon). Head to the website for cocktail ideas, e.g. a Negroni or a Spiced Apple Martini.

Berry & Basil Gin Liqueur – (70cl / 25% abv)
Taste: luxurious and fruity, with ripe Yorkshire raspberries, fresh basil and juniper.
Serve: Indian tonic water (or lemonade), with a fresh raspberry and slice of lime. It’s great in cocktails or topped with sparkling wine.

Black Cardamom Vodka (70cl / 40% abv)
Taste: smooth and refreshing with a hint of smoke. This is the world’s first and only black cardamom vodka!
Serve: Indian tonic water (or lemonade) with a slice of lime and/or fresh mint. Plus great in cocktails, e.g. a Bloody Mary or Expresso Martini.

Nose: maple syrup, rum & raisin ice cream and sticky prunes.
