Kirkbymoorside 10k winner, Toby Antcliff, being presented with his £100 prize for breaking the Kirkbymoorside 10k course record with an amazing time of 31 minutes and 28 seconds.
Toby, a Gillamoor resident, has very generously given The Plough the prize money and as a committee we have agreed to do something special with that money as a moment of his achievement and generosity.
When asked about the race, Toby said: “It was a challenging record to beat. I have had my eye on it for a couple of years, hence the prize money was an additional bonus. I wanted to put it towards The Plough as a contribution to what will be an amazing pub! It was also great to see the support from The Plough on the race route too!”
